David Romprey Oregon Warmline Toolkit and Consultation
The Toolkit is a brand-new development of the Warmline.
One of our major initiatives is to aid interested agencies or individuals obtain the resources they need to implement a warmline in their
area. The amount of planning and strategizing involved can be daunting, and our philosophy is that there is no need to re-invent the wheel.
We have compiled invaluable information used in the development of our warmline into a single volume, complete with an accompanying DVD and electronic resources.
Altogether, this ground-breaking manual details logistics of this frontline development in community mental
health.
The Toolkit includes a DVD with information about the Warmline and interviews, role plays, etc. The Toolkit also includes over 150 pages of written materials. However, these paper materials cannot be used for purposes of reproduction under another agency name without permission. The CD Toolkit manual contains everything in the binder version, but the documents on this disk can be saved and reproduced.

Planning will consist of identifying your target goals and next steps for developing your Warmline and 2 hours of free phone consultation.

Five day: Warmline Operation and IPS as a Warmline Tool (*$3000.00, for up to 20 people)
This is usually done with the group of people you want to be trained to operate the Warmline and the leaders in the area to take the information and train others to operate in additional locations (depending on target area and goals).
This option allows for 5 days of training participants to operate the Warmline.
Participants will learn how to operate the Warmline, how to apply Intentional Peer Support (IPS) principles to their work and lives, how to collect data, role play though difficult calls, Team Leaders will learn techniques to use in their team meetings and location specific planning and set up.
*It should be noted that IPS is a very versatile peer support tool that can be used in a variety of settings, including but not limited to Warmline, drop in centers, emergency rooms, and A/D treatment centers. We charge slightly higher rate for receiving this training and you are welcome to send others not interested in working warmline but other types of Peer Services.
